Qatar has announced a three-year prison sentence or a $5,000 fine for not wearing a mask.
Lockdowns in various countries are being eased to curb the spread of the coronavirus, but the public is also being asked to take precautions.
There are currently 30,000 corona cases in Qatar and 15 deaths.
The Gulf state has made it mandatory to wear a mask when leaving the house as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Corona cases.
According to officials, it will be necessary to wear a mask to get out of the house for any work except those who are traveling alone in their car.
According to Qatari officials, not wearing a mask is punishable by a 55,000 fine or up to three years in prison.
