India Khalistan Movement Gains Momentum Again

In India, the movement for the establishment of an independent Sikh state of Khalistan has gained momentum once again.On India’s Independence Day, the tricolor was unfurled from the DC office in the Ma district of Punjab and the flag of Khalistan was hoisted.In the Moga district of Punjab, Indian Independence Day was celebrated as a black day like in occupied Kashmir.In Amritsar, too, large numbers of Sikhs took to the streets, holding banners of independence and chanting slogans in favor of the Khalistan state.India bans 40 websites of the pro-Khalistan Sikh organizationIndian politics and administration are upset over hoisting of the Khalistan flag at the Moga DC office.
