The first case of coronavirus has been reported in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh.
There are more than one million refugees in Rohingya refugee camps in southern Bangladesh, where the first case of the coronavirus has been confirmed.
A Rohingya refugee and a local man in the camps tested positive for corona, a UN spokesman confirmed.
The spokesman warned that this was the first case of coronavirus in a Rohingya refugee camp, but that the virus could destroy refugee settlements.
Bangladeshi officials said the victim had been transferred to an isolation center after a Rohingya refugee tested positive for corona.
It should be noted that more than 18,000 cases of corona have been reported in Bangladesh so far while more than 280 deaths have also occurred.
