Heavy rains in Saudi Arabia

Heavy rains lashed Saudi Arabia, including Mecca and Medina.

Due to strong winds, trees and signboards fell in some places while the pilgrimage continued in the courtyard of the Haram during the rains.

Heavy rains and hailstorms made the weather pleasant, while torrential rains also lashed the northern and southern parts of Taif.

According to the Saudi Meteorological Department, thundershowers and rain are expected in ten parts of the country today.

Rain is expected in Jeddah, Najran, Jazan, Asir, Baha, and upper areas of Makkah Mukarramah, while dust storms are also likely to affect visibility.

Rain is also expected at various places in Madinah, Tabuk, Riyadh, Qasim, and Hail.
