Here’s another look at Media Molecule’s new PS Vita game, Tearaway.

Ein, the alter ego of the franchise’s veteran ninja Hayate, who first appeared in Dead or Alive 2, will make a return to the series after being axed in Dead or Alive 5.

Sarah Bryant’s brother, Jacky, will also be joining his sister in the fighter, bringing the number of Virtua Fighter guest characters to four.

Momiji from the Ninja Gaiden series was the first new addition revealed for Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate which ships this Fall for the PS3 and 360.

Originally announced with a July release window, Gung Ho Online Entertainment’s expansion the Ragnarok Odyssey will now launch in Japan on August 29th for PS Vita. A western version of the game has not been announced.

Although Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is in development for both the Vita and PS3, the publisher has not announced a release date for the console version of the ultra-high-speed giant multiplayer hunting action.

Acclaimed composer, Nobuo Uematsu, made famous by his work on the Final Fantasy series, has recorded a song for Ragnarok Odyssey Ace.

And now we know the story behind one of Sony’s recent trademarks in Japan.

Set to release next year for the PS Vita, Freedom Wars  is a brand new game which aims to offer a new gaming experience in the popular multiplayer action genre by taking advantage of the PS Vita’s unique functions. The player is a criminal in a post-apocalyptic near future, sentenced to a million years of hard labor, fighting for his freedom.

By completing missions where you rescue civilians and allies who have been captured by huge enemies known as Abductors, you can reduce your sentence. The game supports a maximum of 8 players at a time in both co-op and competitive modes, and supports Adhoc and Wi-Fi Online functions so players all over the country can play together. The game will also support the GPS and Near capabilities of the PS Vita to enhance the gameplay experience.

The Prison Cities known as Panopticon – Where all living things are sentenced to “a million years of hard labor” In the near future, the world lies in ruins, and the outside world can no longer support life. Humanity created cities known as “Panopticon” around the world, and continued to survive.
However, the various cities compete with each other for depleting resources and the research which can sustain life in harsh environments. To control their own population, each Panopticon imposes penal labor on their people – The crime of living carries a sentence of a million years.
Those living under these conditions are known as “Criminals” and they are forced into aiding the war effort as “Volunteers”.
For a chance at freedom, these “Criminals” fight to rescue captureed civilians.

Lead Game Designer Ricky Cambier and Community Strategist Arne Meyer, are in Madrid this week to show off Naughty Dog’s upcoming PS3 exclusive, The Last of Us, to members of the press.

During today’s presentation Naughty Dog stated that a sequel to the post apocalyptic game could happen if it sells well enough.

But seeing as how Sony had recently nabbed up domain names for The Last of us 2 & 3, it’s safe to assume that a sequel is all but in the cards.

The Last of Us sports 19 chapters which, depending on how you play, can be rather difficult and lengthy. Other details surfacing from the event is that the game will ( not surprisingly ) have additional dlc but it’s unclear if it will be story content or solely multiplayer.

The Last of Us is due out June 14th worldwide.

The PlayStation 4 will make its first ever public appearance June 10th, during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference.
