New Dengeki Magazine scans reveal three returning Wei generals for Koei’s Shin Sangokumusou 7; Cao Pi, Zhen Ji and Xiahou Yuan.
According to our usual source for all things Dynasty Warriors, Xiahou Yuan’s weapon in DW 8 is a retractable bow that can transform into a whip, can or rod.
With the addition of these three characters the total confirmed roster for Shin Sangokumusou 7 stands at 13. The game will reportedly feature over 70 playable characters.
Shin Sangokumusou 7 ( Dynasty Warriors 8 ) is scheduled to ship next Spring in Japan. An overseas release is to be announced.
