In the latest issue of Play UK worldwide sales data for 19 exclusives released for the PS3 have been published.
According to the publication, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves remains the top selling installment in the five year old franchise while Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots is reportedly the best selling third party title out of the three listed in the below graph.
Insomniac Games’ Resistance franchise has topped the 7 million mark with Fall of Man taking the crown as the top seller out of the trilogy. Following close behind is Media Molecule’s Little Big Planet series.
Sales of Lightbox Interactive’s recently released Starhawk have gotten off to a slow start at just over 100k sales.
While quiet a few exclusives are missing on this list, most noticeably absent from the numbers published in the magazine are Eat Sleep Play’s Twisted Metal, Level-5′s White Knight Chronicles series and Poly Digital’s Gran Turismo 5 which, at over 7 million copies sold as of December 2011, remains the all time best selling PS3 exclusive released to date.
