Speaking to Famitsu, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura shared additional information on his latest announced product.

Development on Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix began before Square Enix’s other HD remastered PS2 title, Final Fantasy X HD, which was announced over a year ago for the PS3 and PS Vita.
While details on FFXHD is being kept under wraps, according to Nomura Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD is reportedly nearly completed.
The KHHD Remix has a release window of 2013 in Japan all because of the hard work of two programmers from Square Enix’s Osaka team who had been working diligently on the game over the course of a year.
Additionally, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will have a modified camera function that will resemble Kingdom Hearts II.
