Ragnarok Odyssey, one of the best selling Vita titles in Japan, is making its journey westward this month thanks to publisher XSEED Games.
The subsidiary of Japan’s Marvelous AQL has a lot of faith in the action rpg and in a response to users on the official PlayStation blog this week, XSEED’s Production Assistant, Brittany Avery explained why.
We definitely feel there’s an audience for Ragnarok Odyssey- in fact, it caught our eye because of the high demand for the game! It has a monster hunting feel, which is very successful in Japan, and being the first monster hunting title on the Vita -as well as having a relation to a very popular MMO- RO has a lot of love surrounding it.
Although Ragnarok Odyssey is scheduled to release sometime this month, XSEED is keeping a tight lid on the exact date until they’re 100% sure that they’ve ironed everything out ahead of its release.
XSEED is also looking into a possible demo for Ragnarok Odyssey due to the amount of requests they’ve received for one.
