It appears that Grand Theft Auto 3 may soon receive a PSN release. According to the Hong Kong PSN Store, GTA 3 is scheduled to arrive on September 25th on the store.
You may recall that the re-release was hampered in August due to licensing issues for certain audio tracks in the game. At the time Sony couldn’t provide an eta on when the game would become available as they worked to resolve the issue.
This listing would suggest that a Western release may be right around the corner.
