Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale: “Crash Will Never Be DLC”, Says Director

During PAX Prime last month, DualShockNexus managed to speak with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale director, Omar Kendell and press him for additional details on his studio’s big PlayStation exclusive brawler.

While Kendell kept quiet about new character announcements, he did respond to a fan who wondered if one of the most recognizable PlayStation characters in gaming history history, Crash Bandicoot, would be offered as dlc.

Kendell responded:

“Crash, would NEVER be DLC, he would be a free character.”

Could this mean that Crash’s announcement is still to come or perhaps the genetically-advanced Eastern Barred Bandicoot won’t be in PSASBR at all?

With just over two months until PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale hits store shelves around the world, we’ll find out in due time if Crash is apart of the cast.
