A few new details regarding DONTNOD Entertainment and Capcom’s Remember Me have come to life via a recent interview with creative director Jean-Maxime Moris.
According to Morris the French studio had considered numerous publishers for the game codenamed Adrift but Capcom prove to be the best fit. The studio secured a publishing deal with the Japanese video game company last November.
As mentioned above, the name Adrift was only tentavie. Capcom and DONTNOD went over a lot of possiblities for the name of title before settling with Remember Me, which was suggested by Capcom.
Also since the plot of Remember Me revolves around memories Morris explained how he had an idea to create a place where people could upload their memories. However, this isn’t something they’ll be able to include in the first game but Morris hopes to include this idea later.
Remember Me is scheduled to ship next May.
