GC 2012: Killzone: Mercenary Announced, 2013 Release

Guerrilla Games is bringing its shooter IP to the small screen with Killzone: Mercenary for the PS Vita.

In the new first person shooter players will assume the role of a mercenary “free to decide which tactics and loadouts you’ll use to fulfill your contract; your employers will reward you with state-of-the-art weaponry and cold, hard cash as long as you get the job done.”

The game runs on the same engine that Killzone 3 utulizes and will make good use of the Vita’s twin sticks.

Look for it to arrive sometime next year.
