Sacred Citadel And Sacred 3 Pinned For A 2013 Debut

Deep Silver is readying two new installments to the rpg series, Sacred.

Scheduled to release some time next year as a a standalone single-player and co-op title, Sacred Citadel will act as a prologue to the next chapter of the Sacred story and will unveil “an intriguing secret about the Seraphim that will directly relate to the action rpg Sacred 3.”

While mum’s the word as far as Sacred 3 is concerned, Deep Silver did reveal that Sacred Citadel ( seen below ) will feature several playable clasees, including the Safiri Warrior, the Ancarian Ranger and the Khukuri Shaman.

Sacred Citadel will also offer an engrossing multiplayer mode: as up to three  players can join forces against their enemies in seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op mode.

Sacred Citadel and Sacred 3 are due out in 2013. Citadel will be downloadable only for the PS3 and 360.
