A new patch for Dragon’s Dogma is in the pipeline. The update, scheduled to go live on August 6th, will give players the option to tone done the difficulty level on the fly by adding an optional Easy Mode.
Capcom is also planning to offer a second demo for the game in Japan on the 9th of August for PlayStation 3 owners. According to reports, the”Adventure Demo” will let you play the game’s opening, through the hydra battle.
Like the previous demo players will be able to edit their Pawn character and carry the save data over to the full game.

This patch is completely pointless…the game half/end-game content is already super easy, why do they want to add an even easier version I don’t know. I was expecting something like a crafting system, because I’m sure during the development there was something like in plan but it didn’t make it in the final version. I know they are working at Dragons Dogma 2 but still…
By adding that demo it’s a very nice move, because the previous demo was kinda dodgy, but they want to temp gamers to buy the game.

I suppose the addition of the Easy Mode is for gamers who find it too difficult. If Capcom continues to update the game then adding extra hard mode may be planned as well.
How can you find Dragons Dogma easy? Every person that played this game spammed the forums that the game is not challangeing after 15-20 hours. If they bothered to read some forums they would have added Hard Mode, but I ask myself why didn’t they release Easy/Hard at once?
