Tecmo Koei has pinned a 2014 release for Samurai Warriors 4.
According to a tweet made by Tecmo Koei head of development Hisashi Koinuma, the 2014 date is to mark the 10th anniversary of the game.
While the first Samurai Warriors game was initially released for the PS2 in Japan on February 11, 2004, Koinuma wouldn’t provide an exact date for the fourth installment to the company’s musou title set in ancient Japan.
But with a new Samurai Warriors title two years off, perhaps a PS4/720/ Wii U release is in the cards?
