Japanese video game website Impress Watch caught up to the acclaimed producer, Kazunori Yamauchi during a signing and press Q&A session at the China Joy gaming event in Beijing this week.
There, Yamauchi stated that he’s been working on the framework for the Gran Turismo 6 since immediately after work on GT5 finished. While no platform for the next game was announced at the event Yamauchi did add: ”We’re always aiming for the latest technology and the latest expression.”
Regarding the rumor Vita edition of GT5, Yamauchi didn’t confirm or deny that a portable version was in the works. He did state that: “If we were to make it, we’d like to make use of the ability to play anywhere and the ability to use 3G at any time.”
