Due to its similarity in gameplay it’s hard for SuperBot Entertainment’s first PlayStation outing not to be compared to Nintendo’s Super Smash Brother’s series.
While PlayStation All-Stars Director Omar Kendall recently defended the game to a Smash Brothers aficionado at EVO 2012, Producer Gavin Russell doesn’t mind the comparisons:
“Our emphasis is on the killsweep: the special move. Obviously we know games like Smash Brothers are quite easily drawn into comparison with our title, and to be honest, with a game as successful as that, it’s flattering to be placed in the same company.”
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due out this October for the PS3 and PS Vita but before that Superbot Entertainment has a more characters to unveil for the brawler. Several more characters are expected to be announced next month during Gamescom 2012.

I don’t understand why the media is bragging about this. Nintendo did the smash brothers why could not Sony do the same? In the end it’s for the fans and both games are exclusives. Maybe because Microsoft can’t do one with their 3 unique characters?:P
