Kojima Productions Ready To Show Off First Fox Engine Game

Kojima Productions’ internally developed Fox Engine has been the talk of many since a demo running on the engine was official unveiled last year at Konami’s conference at E3 2011. Since then Kojima has released teaser footage of what the Fox Engine can do but at the end of next month, all that will change.

To commemorate the 25 anniversary of the fame Metal Gear franchise, Hideo Kojima has confirmed that the very first Fox Engine powered game will be shown to the public in Japan next month.

Production studios in Japan are nearly extinct, a fact that we have recognized for nearly 10 years, and although the Fox Engine is not finished we are ready to show what it can do… on August 30th in Japan to be more specific.

Metal Gear Solid 5 and the next Zone of the Enders installment are the only two confirmed titles that utilize the Fox Engine.
