Square Enix To Reveal Future Final Fantasy XIII Developments In September

It would be premature for us to say Final Fantasy XIII-3 is in the pipeline, even if the ending to Final Fantasy XIII-2 suggests so. But whatever the future holds on the cast of FFXIII we’ll find out in just over a month during the  Final Fantasy 25th anniversary event in Japan.

On September 1st at 11:30 local time Square Enix is expected to reveal upcoming details about the future of  Final Fantasy XIII during a stage event titled “Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation.”  The game’s producer, director, art director and other members of the staff will be in attendance.

The following day Hajime Tabata, Yusuke Naora and other developers will appear for a live recording session of Square Enix’s Squeni Chan! Presents radio broadcast to discuss the future of Final Fantasy franchise.

If they trow some DLC I’m not interested because of principle and I already sold my FF copy. I really did enjoy FF XIII and FF XIII-2 but for me there where to easy and no end-game content. As for the battle system I dislike hybrids, you either make a full action or a turn-based one. The padagrim system ( or whatever the name is :P ) is pretty smart but it needs more depth and complexity because as a lot of people has shown you can finish most battles by pressing X. All I can say is that they could have done much more.

    Best regards,
