It’s been over a year since Final Fantasy Versus XIII was last shown to the public and after another E3 no show fans may be wondering what the hell is going on with Square Enix’s long awaited action rpg.
The latest issue of Game Informer has dedicated a full page timeline to the game, chronicling what little details Square Enix has shared about FFvsXIII from its first unveiling six years ago to E3 2012. The timeline concludes with the below statement Square Enix shared with the publication last month:
“We appreciate the excitement for this title, but at this time, we do not have any new information to share on its development. We are extremely thankful for the continued support for the Final Fantasy franchise and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.”
Back in May the game’s famed director, Tetsuya Nomura, asked for patience from eager fans awaiting any form of announcement regarding the game. He also promised that Square Enix would share new information on Final Fantasy Versus XIII ” as quickly as we can.”
