Square Enix may not have had new games to display during E3 last week but the company did show off a graphically impressive real time tech demo called The Agni’s Philosophy.
While the demo running on an unfinished engine may give us a taste of what’s to come for future consoles, the first game to fully utilize the Luminous Engine may not see the light of day before 2015. This is according to a highly reliable source via Neogaf who was ”specifically told” this information by those familiar with the matter.
Despite the above claim, no one from Square Enix has publically shared an exact timeline for when a Luminous run game would hit the masses. However, during an interview with Gamasutra Square Enix’s CTO Yoshihisa Hashimoto stated that it won’t be long.
