Bungie has confirmed that it will be skipping another E3 this year.
The studio behind the acclaimed Halo first person shooter made the announcement on Bungie.net after being asked if it would have a presentation at the event.
“Nope. We never started one, and we’re not going to be at E3 in any official capacity this year. Some of us will be there, lurking from booth to booth, but don’t expect any announcements.”
According to unsealed court documents involving the contract between the studio and Activision, Bungie’s next project “Destiny” isn’t expected to arrive before later 2013 for the 360. A PS3 release is slated for 2014.
