Keeping its promise to expand the the Final Fantasy XIII-2 story beyond DLC, Square Enix will release a 242-page novel based on the sequel in Japan this June.
Called Final Fantasy XIII-2 Fragments After the novel will cover the untold stories of Lightning, Snow, Alyssa, Noel and Yule which will span 5 chapters.
- Lightning’s events as the Knight of the Temple of Etro
- Snow’s reunion with Lightning in dreams, and how he became a l’Cie again.
- Alyssa’s mourning of dead and mercy of fate
- Noel, Yule and Caius’s precious memories with our friends
- Yule’s wish while wandering in time
A similar novel, Final Fantasy XIII-2 Fragments Before, was released in Japan alongside the video game’s debut last December. Final Fantasy XIII-2 Fragments After will release in Japan on Jun 21, for 980 yen.
