Tecmo Keoi has reported a 10.7% increase in sales over last year due to “strong sales ” of Ninja Gaiden III, Warriors Orochi 3 (Musou Orochi 2), Sengoku Musou 3 Empires and Winning Post 7 2012.
Despite receiving criticism from the media and disgruntled gamers concerning the third installment of the series, the company revealed that worldwide shipments of Ninja Gaiden III have reached 630k.
Sales figures for Warriors Orochi 3 released in North America for the PS3 and 360 March 20th ( digital game only on for the PS3 ), and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for the PS Vita were not reported.
Other projects including its collaboration with Namco Bandai for One Piece Pirate Musou were also sources of revenue for the Japanese conglomerate. Tecmo Koei expects a 9.8% increase in sales during the current fiscal year and a 7.7% increase in net earnings.
