During Capcom Captivate in Rome last week it was confirmed that Resident Evil 6 will include both online and local split-screen multiplayer co-op.
The action game has also adopted a new drop-in and drop-out feature which allows online players to come and go when ready. Something that wasn’t available in Resident Evil 5. Mercenaries mode will return in this installment of the series but unlike previous games this mode will be unlocked from the start.
Resident Evil 6 is scheduled to ship this October.
