Famitsu.com has revealed three new playable characters in .hack//Versus. Tsukasa, Ouan and Sakuya join the previously announced Haseo, Sora and the mysterious character only known as 9. This brings the total number of characters for the fighter to six.
Details concerning the modes found in the game has also surfaced. .hack//versus will include a Story mode that follows the story of the movie, mixing fighting sequences with story scenes. Upon completion players will be able to view an original animation threw the eyes of a character from the CG movie named David which will include some “major revelations” from the flick.
The online portion of the game will include most of the usual features found in a fighter, including ranked matches. .hack//Versus will ship bundled with the Blu-ray Hybrid disc that also includes the .hack//Sekai no Mukou ni movie in Japan June 28th.
