Gamasutra is reporting that analyst group Sterne Agee is no longer expecting a 2012 debut for one of RockStar Games’ most anticipated sequels.
Previously predicting a late 2012 release for Grand Theft Auto V, the group now see the game hitting retail early next year.
As RockStar remains silent on the game Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia believes GTA V will release sometime during March 2013. This date would be “ beneficial” to the title as it wouldn’t have to compete against the annual heavyweights like Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed.
Bhatia also believes a WiiU version will also be announced at some point.
