Delay Of Game For Inversion
Namco Bandai has pushed back the release of its gravity defying their person shooter. Originally on track for an “early 2012″ debut, Inversion is now expected to hit retail in North America on June 5th followed by a June 8th release in Europe across the PS3, 360 and PC.
Addressing the delay Namco Bandai stated that rescheduling the title will allow Saber Interactive to “create an enjoyable and engaging third-person shooter experience.”
Inversion tells the story of a near-future human race that has been overrun by an invading enemy known as the Lutadore. The invaders bring with them plenty of hostility, as well as the gravity-altering technology that allows for the game’s biggest selling point. These weapons’ effects are complicated by a rift in the fundamental physical force that ties objects together, causing various parts of the city to become zero-gravity hot zones.
