EA’s popular Sim City franchise has made a name for itself on the PC for nearly a decade.
In 2008 the series expanded to the Nintendo Wii with SimCity Creator. Now it appears that Electronic Arts is preparing to go one step further with the series with a possible release for the PS3 and/or 360.
This news stems from a recent job listing in which Sim City developer, Maxis, is seeking individuals with “Good knowledge of the Xbox 360 and PS3 rendering architectures and APIs.”
Just last week EA revealed that Maxis was hard at work on a new project. The big unveiling is expected to take place during GDC at EA’s “game changer event“ two weeks from today.
