Retailers in Japan are anticipating huge demand for Namco Bandai and Tecmo Koei’s new PS3 exclusive. According to andriasang retailers have already ordered half a million copies of One Piece: Kaizoku Musou ( One Piece Pirate Musou ) ahead of the game’s March 1st debut in the region.
One Piece Pirate Musou is based on the popular anime and will feature two player co-op both on and offline.
Despite One Piece Pirate Musou not officially being announced for a release outside of Japan recent trademarks fillings made by Namco Bandai for both North America and Europe indicate the company’s plans for the game in other parts of the world.
