Capcom Shares Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Sales Numbers

During the company’s earnings report Capcom revealed sales data of its key titles released during the quarter.

Worldwide sales of the updated Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 sold 600k copies in just under three months.

In comparison Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds( released in early 2011 ) sold over two million copies in nearly the same amount of time. Capcom didn’t provide sales data for the PS Vita version of the fighter which has been available in Japan since the system launched in the region last December

Capcom also revealed sales data for the latest Dead Risng title. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record has moved 500k copies since launching last October.

According to Capcom sales of both Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Off the Record were “faring well mainly overseas.”

The only title to cross the million mark was Monster Hunter 3(Tri) G for the 3DS, which was released in Japan last December.
