Even though producer Yoshinori Kitase was recently touring Europe promoting the upcoming release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in 2012, it seems some fans are more interested in that other Final Fantasy game hidden away within the walls of Square Enix’s Japanese headquarters.
Apparently a female Final Fantasy afficianodo raised a question Kitase couldn’t answer; when will FF Versus XIII be released? Kitase told Famitsu.com that the young woman’s inquier left an impression on him.
This isn’t the first time Kitase was approached by someone who would rather discuss Versus XIII than XIII-2. Earlier in the year during E3 2011 Kitase shared a similar response to a fan wanting to know about the status of Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
