Director Daishi Odashima has shared the North American and European release timeline for Soul Calibur V. He made the announcement over Twitter:
People are asking a lot about the release date. I can tell everyone that it will be released in the 1st quarter of 2012 in the US and EU!
Other than the date Odashima also disclosed that currently downloadable characters are still undecided for SCV. However that may change depending on demand. Cyber Connect 2, the developers most famous this gen for their work on numerous Naruto games, are creating the 3D cut scenes in story mode.
And 3 time Grammy winner John Kurlander ( who has also worked on Dragon Age 2 and Assassin’s Creed 2 ) will be providing orchestrated music for the fighter.
Sounds like Soul Calibur V will be quite the epic.
