It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen anything DmC related. After the reboot was a no-show at Capcom’s April media event it was rumored to make some kind of an appearance at E3 2011 this June. Don’t get your hopes up says Capcom’s Christian Svensson.
During a live Q&A session this week, Svensson teased, “Maybe, we’ll see,” adding, “you’re going have to wait and see.” Svensson went on to say that many of the company’s big reveals were shared last month during Captivate, so gamers should ”keep expectations in line”.
“I don’t know that we’ll be shocking anyone with what we’re talking about at E3. Most of our major announcements were made at Captivate. There’ll be some light shed on things that we previously announced that we didn’t show much of at Captivate, updates for some things we did show at Captivate.”
“But keep your expectations in check and everyone will probably come out happy. That doesn’t mean that we won’t have more things to talk about in the not so distant future, just to set expectations.”
Whether or not DmC makes a showing at E3 2011 the game isn’t expect to be available before April 2012. That’s according to Capcom’s recently released fiscal year sales plan.
