Hello Games’ Next Title Won’t Be Joe Danger 2

Hello Games’ first PSN game, Joe Danger, litterally became an over night success for the small development team but their next game won’t be a sequel. During a podcast interview with IndieGames, HG didn’t rule out the possibility of a Joe Danger 2 but right now the focus is on a new game.

Although they didn’t officially confirm it, the guys said that Joe Danger 2 is pretty much a certainty. They really enjoyed developing the original, and there were plenty of ideas that were left on the cutting room floor which they’d like to play around with for a sequel.

It won’t be their next game, but sometime in the future they definitely want to make it happen. Their next game will be out in 2012.

It’s still a bit early to say whether or not their next game will be released on PSN as well but given the studio’s previous comments, it’s safe to assume so.
