PS3 3D Blu-Ray Update Pushed Back in Europe

European gamers eager for their 3D fix will have to wait an extra month before being able to experience 3D on their PS3s. Previously scheduled for release this month, Sony has announced a delay for the European firmware update to its PlayStation 3 console.

The update that’ll  support playback of 3D Blu-ray movies is now on schedule for release October 1st for Europe. Sony made the announcment at their IAF2010 press event yesterday but shared no details for the delay.
