It’s been an exciting few months for Tekken fans.
First we had the announcement back in May of this year that the next installment in the Tekken series is in the “pre-production stages of development”. Then this past weekend at SDCC it was revealed that both Capcom & Namco were working on separate crossover games for their fighting game franchises, Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter.
Unfortunately both of those games are a long ways off but according to a tweet by the “Father of Tekken” Katsuhiro Harada, there may be some Tekken related news coming as soon as this summer.
The Tekken info Harada-san is referring to may-or-may-not have anything to do with the recent announcements. There’s an equal chance that perhaps we’ll hear something about more DLC for Namco’s current Tekken game, Tekken 6, which was hinted at a while back.
