Demon’s Souls Makes Strong European Debut

It’s been a long time coming for European gamers who’ve had to wait with uncertainty for their chance to buy one of the best games currently available for the PS3. For those who chose not to import the game, news that Namco Bandai was publishing  the European version of the game this summer was what gamers had been waiting for.

Reviews for Demon’s Souls had been quite favorable from Japan to North America. So far some European reviews have shared the same sentiment about the game as well. After going on sale in Europe last week, Demon’s Souls took 3rd place on the list of the top 30 PS3 software in the UK for the week ending June 26th.

The game also came in 6th place on the list of the top 40 overall software sales in the country. Unfortunately there weren’t any numbers provided with these figures but it sounds like Demon’s Souls has been well appreciated across the pond as well.
