After managing to pass the 5m units sold in Japan in April, the next logical step for the PS3 would be for PSN to reach the same numbers as well. Sony’s ,free-for-gaming, Playstation Network has accomplished just that. Not only has PSN attracted 5m users but the amount of download content in the country has topped 110 million as well.
Such a feat deserves celebrating as Sony plans to throw a present campaign for the general public, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Home users.
Details from andriasang:
From June 3 through June 30, five visitors to the PlayStation.com official site will be selected to win a model KDL-46LX900 3D Bravia set. To take part in the campaign, visitors will need to fill out a short quiz, accessible at the campaign site.
From June 3 through June 16, those who purchase ¥500 or more in content from PlayStation Store will be entered into a raffle to win some sweet goods. The following will be on offer in quantities of 100 units each:
- torne DVR kit — PS3

- BD Remote Controller — PS3
- Accessory Pack (4GB) — PSP
