Starting June 10th in Japan ,Wipeout HD, Star Strike HD and Mr. Pain will be the first few games currently available to receive a 3D upgrade. Mr. Pain is the only one out of the group that will require a separate ¥300 purchase to unlock a 3D mode.
Sony also hopes to make buying a 3D Bravia more attractive by offering the above games and a 3D demo of Motorstorm 2 free of charge with a purchase of the 3D tv. This offer is currently exclusive to Japan.
